Providing for People in Paisley continues to support the two hour English classes held weekly in Ferguslie with the provision of teacher's books at elementary and intermediate levels and ten student books at both levels to provide an ongoing resource. Lesley D who runs the classes said

"Now in our third year in Ferguslie Park as an English class we have enjoyed working with many different students from many different countries and helping them to improve their English. We have gladly utilised the resources provided in many ways to good effect. To enhance the offering we make to this role, we wished to introduce course books which could be re-used year on year and would help us to cover all areas of English learning – talking, reading, writing and listening – in a methodical way.  To this end we have sourced a set of books in the Headway series for both teachers and students.The books will not be the only source of lesson-planning as we fully intend to continue to use all other resources"
