Providing for People in Paisley has been providing financial support to charitable organisations and individuals in need since 1884
Please review these guidelines before applying
- The organisation, group or person to benefit from the grant must live, operate or support those living in Paisley
- Given that our resources cannot meet every need, the Trust supports applications consistent with its charitable objectives
- Applications on behalf of an individual must be submitted by a professional person from a recognised organisation who has an ongoing professional relationship with the applicant e.g. social worker, teacher, health professional, support worker.
- We can discuss the application only with the professional who submitted it and will not communicate directly with the beneficiary.
- Payment will be made by electronic bank transfer. Proof of the organisation's bank account details will be required.
- Payments are not made directly to individuals; equipment or services will be purchased on their behalf.
- Grants in the form of a gift card must be spent entirely in accordance with the approved application
- Applications may be submitted at any time
If your application is successful, the grant recipient agrees to accept the following terms and responsibilities:
- Submit and consent to the use of a brief narrative outlining the supported project and photos (which do not identify individuals) for use on our website, social media and local press
- If requested, welcome a committee member to visit the project in person and take photographs for use on the website, on social media and in the local press.
- Complete an online evaluation form with photos when requested to assess the impact of the grant - either after equipment purchase/activity or at project end
Grants are partnerships, not mere transactions. Building a relationship boosts your chances of future funding.
Unsuccessful Applications
- A grant refused on one occasion does not mean that the Trust will refuse another, and unsuccessful, but eligible applicants are welcome to re-apply
